At Foxhall OBGYN Associates, we offer a full range of gynecologic services. Our physicians care for women through each of their life stages including adolescence, women in their reproductive years, those in the menopause transition and women who have achieved menopause. We have on site laboratory and gynecologic ultrasound available for our patient’s convenience and we offer many outpatient procedures in our state-of-the-art office. We perform both minimally invasive and traditional gynecologic surgery at Johns Hopkins Medicine Sibley Memorial Hospital.

For our younger patients, the first experience in a gynecology office sets the stage for a lifetime of gynecologic and obstetric care. We understand the importance of creating a positive and comfortable environment for this special group of patients. We encourage a parent or guardian to accompany their daughter to these visits, but we always take time to address our teens concerns in privacy as well. As a team, parent, child, and physician can best address the unique gynecologic needs of our teens.

For some, the road to pregnancy is not straight nor smooth. We recognize that patients who are having difficulty getting pregnant are in need of supportive and skilled physicians to evaluate the possible causes of infertility in a sensitive and caring manner.  In many cases, we can provide treatment and help patients achieve their fertility goals. For some with more complex fertility issues, we actively refer our patients to fertility experts and we look forward to their return for obstetrical care once they have conceived. We are highly skilled in the obstetrical care of patients who have conceived with in-vitro fertilization.

Women’s healthcare needs during the menopausal transition and after menopause are expansive.  Physical and emotional changes during the peri-menopausal years can be challenging for some patients, and new health concerns may emerge after menopause. We are proud to provide a broad range of healthcare to our mature patients, from osteoporosis screening and treatment, to evaluation and management sexual health issues. Many of our physicians have had additional training focused on menopausal medicine and are certified by the North American Menopause Society (NAMS).

The physicians at Foxhall OB/GYN Associates offer a full range of obstetric and gynecologic surgical services.  We always attempt to achieve our treatment goals with minimally invasive approaches. Some procedures can even be performed in our in-office state-of-the art treatment room.   For patients who prefer or require a hospital stay, we perform surgical procedures at Johns Hopkins Medicine Sibley Memorial Hospital and are privileged to work with Sibley’s experienced and compassionate Anesthesiology and Nursing Services.

As a courtesy to our patients, we have a dedicated surgical coordinator who helps our patients through the administrative process including scheduling preoperative and postoperative appointments, assisting with obtaining preoperative medical clearance when it is necessary, and coordinating medical insurance pre-authorization.
