Dr. Richard Beckerman joined Foxhall Ob/Gyn in 1990 and is literally the last man standing. He is the only male physician at Foxhall. Dr. Beckerman received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin.  He completed a Master’s Degree in Physiology and his Medical Degree from Georgetown University.  He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from The George Washington University in 1990.  Dr. Beckerman is board certified by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. Beckerman is currently the Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sibley Memorial Hospital.   His practice includes the full array of obstetric and gynecologic services.  Dr. Beckerman holds the honor of having delivered more babies than any doctor at Foxhall!  His technical expertise, warm bedside manner and mischievous sense of humor have made him a Foxhall favorite.  He has consistently been named one of  Washingtonian Magazine’s “Best Doctors”.  He’s our very own Dr. McDreamy.

In his spare time, Dr. Beckerman enjoys spending time with his three adult children. Dr. Beckerman enjoys travel, golf and quality time with good friends.  Fun fact—Dr. Beckerman’s daughter, Dani, is the creator of ‘Jars by Dani,’ a successful novelty dessert business in New York.

Shannon B. Green

Dr. Shannon Becker Green joined Foxhall Ob/Gyn in 2011.  She received both her undergraduate and medical degrees from Georgetown University.  She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The George Washington University in 2011.  Dr. Green is board certified by The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Certified Menopause Practitioner.

Dr. Green’s practice encompasses the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology.  She sees patients of all ages with a particular interest in contraceptive counseling, minimally invasive surgery and high risk obstetrics.  She has been consistently named one of Washingtonian Magazine’s “Best Doctors.”

Dr. Green is a native of Kansas City, Missouri.   She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and three young daughters.  Dr. Green is an avid exercise enthusiast and not surprisingly, a devoted fan of the Georgetown Hoyas.  She proudly serves on the Board of Governors at Georgetown University as well as the Young Professionals Board at Sibley Memorial Hospital.  She feels passionate about building relationships, both at home and in the community!

Lynne J. Lightfoote

Dr. Lynne Lightfoote joined Foxhall Ob/Gyn in 2005.  She completed her undergraduate studies from Wellesley College. She received her Medical Degree from the University of Virginia and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Dr. Lightfoote is board certified by The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Lightfoote’s practice encompasses the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology.  Her goal is to provide personalized care from adolescence, fertility, pregnancy, menopause and beyond.  Her practice style is warm, friendly and compassionate.  Her infectious laugh draws patients in and makes them feel comfortable and at ease.  Her thoroughness and dedication make her patients feel more like friends and family than anonymous clients.  Dr. Lightfoote has consistently been named as one of “Washingtonian’s Best Doctors. “

Dr. Lightfoote is a rare find—she is a native Washingtonian.  Dr. Lightfoote also has the distinction of being the first Foxhall doctor who was actually delivered by Foxhall Ob/Gyn!  So technically she has been affiliated with Foxhall Ob/Gyn the longest of any of our doctors.  She is active in her community through numerous civic and charitable organizations.  Her interests include travel, shopping and tennis.  Another fun fact about Dr. Lightfoote—she was a member of acapella singing groups at both Wellesley and the University of Virginia.  Needless to say, she is a big fan of karaoke.

Nichole A. Pardo

Dr. Nichole Pardo joined Foxhall Ob/Gyn in 2007.  Dr. Pardo completed her undergraduate studies at Trinity College and received a Master’s Degree in Medical Science from Boston University.  She received her Medical Degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Pardo did her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Walter Reed Army and National Naval Medical Center.  She is board certified by The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Certified Menopause Practitioner.

Dr. Pardo’s practice includes all areas of obstetrics and gynecology.  She sees patients of all ages and in all stages of reproductive life from puberty to menopause.  Her particular areas of interest are high-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive surgery.  Dr. Pardo’s no-nonsense approach coupled with her compassionate and reassuring bedside manner is much appreciated by her patients.   She has consistently been named one of “Washingtonian’s Best Doctors.”

Dr.  Pardo is a native of Long Island, New York and presently resides in Washington, D.C. with her husband and daughter.  She enjoys travel, cooking and quality time with her daughter.  Dr. Pardo served in the 28th Combat Support Hospital during Operation Enduring Freedom.  Dr. Pardo, we thank you for your service.
